Sediqa Balkhi- Sadiqa, the daughter of Sayed Ismail Balkhi was born in 1329, (1950), in Mazar-i-Sharif; to a religious and educated family, and has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies. She also followed religious studies in Iran during the years she had migrated there. She is the former Minister of Martyrs and Disabled under President Karzai. She was replaced by Noor Mohammad Qarqeen.
